# acpt/custom\_post\_type/save

Fires after a custom post type's settings are saved

**Type:** Action

Fires after a custom post type is registered or its settings are updated.

### Parameters

| Parameter    | Type                        | Description                                  |
| ------------ | --------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| `$command`   | `SaveCustomPostTypeCommand` | The command instance that performed the save |
| `$postModel` | `CustomPostTypeModel`       | The saved custom post type                   |

### Usage

```php
add_action("acpt/custom_post_type/save", function(SaveCustomPostTypeCommand $command, CustomPostTypeModel $postModel){
    // do something
}, 10, 2);
```
