# acpt\_breadcrumb

Template action that outputs a breadcrumb trail

**Type:** Action (template)

Outputs a breadcrumb trail. This is fired automatically wherever the `{{acpt_breadcrumbs}}` placeholder is used inside a Dynamic Block template — you don't need to call it yourself, but you can hook into it to customize or replace the output.

### Parameters

| Parameter    | Type     | Description                                                                                          |
| ------------ | -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `$separator` | `string` | Optional. The string used between breadcrumb items. Defaults to the built-in separator when omitted. |

### Usage

```php
do_action("acpt_breadcrumb");           // default separator
do_action("acpt_breadcrumb", " › ");   // custom separator
```
