# delete\_acpt\_table

Delete a custom table definition

Delete a custom table definition (metadata only — does not drop the physical database table).

To also remove the physical table, call `drop_acpt_table()` before this function.

### Usage

```php
delete_acpt_table('products');
```

### Parameters

| Parameter   | Type   | Required | Description               |

| `tableName` | string | Required | Machine name of the table |

### Return

| Type   | Description                                                         |
| ------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `bool` | `true` on success, `false` when the table was not found or on error |
