# delete\_acpt\_table\_group

Delete a Custom Content Type table group

Delete a table group by its machine name. Member tables are detached, not deleted.

### Usage

```php
delete_acpt_table_group('products_group');
```

### Parameters

| Parameter | Type   | Required | Description                         |
| --------- | ------ | -------- | ----------------------------------- |
| `name`    | string | Required | The machine name of the table group |

### Return

| Type   | Description                                                         |
| ------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `bool` | `true` on success, `false` when the group was not found or on error |
