# drop\_acpt\_table

Drop the physical database table

Drop the physical database table.

This does **not** remove the table definition from ACPT metadata. Call `delete_acpt_table()` afterwards if you also want to remove the definition.

### Usage

```php
// Remove both the physical table and the definition
drop_acpt_table('products');
delete_acpt_table('products');
```

### Parameters

| `tableName` | string | Required | Machine name of the table |

### Return

| Type   | Description                                                                    |
| ------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| `bool` | `true` on success, `false` on error or when the table definition was not found |
