# \[acpt\_comm]

Display a comment meta field value

Displays a meta field value associated with a WordPress comment. If no comment ID is provided, the global comment context is used.

### Usage

```
[acpt_comm box="box_name" field="field_name"]
```

Specify a comment ID explicitly:

```
[acpt_comm cid="56" box="box_name" field="field_name"]
```

### Parameters

| Parameter | Required | Description       |
| --------- | -------- | ----------------- |
| `box`     | Required | The meta box name |
| `field`   | Required | The field name    |
| `cid`     | Optional | The comment ID    |

All [shared parameters](/developers/shortcodes.md#shared-parameters) are also accepted.

### Example

Display a rating field stored on a comment:

```
[acpt_comm cid="56" box="review_data" field="rating"]
```
