Email settings
By default, email sending is disabled for newly created forms.
When you enable it, the form expands to show all email configuration fields. This works as a notification layer: an email is sent on every successful submission regardless of which form action you have configured.
Fields
Recipients
To
Yes
One or more recipient addresses, comma-separated.
Cc
No
Carbon copy — recipients see each other's addresses.
Bcc
No
Blind carbon copy — recipients are hidden from each other and from To/Cc recipients.
Reply-To
No
The address that email clients pre-fill when the recipient clicks Reply. Useful when From is a no-reply address.
Content
Subject
Yes
The subject line of the email.
Header
No
Top section of the email body. Often used for a logo or greeting.
Body
Yes
Main content of the email, placed between the header and footer.
Footer
No
Bottom section of the email body. Often used for disclaimers or unsubscribe notices.
The header, body, and footer are concatenated in that order and wrapped by the selected template.
Attachments
Select one or more File fields from the form. The uploaded files are attached to the outgoing email as standard MIME attachments.
Template
Choose the visual layout for the email:
Blank
No wrapper — raw HTML only. Use when you supply your own full email markup in the body.
Light
White background with a clean single-column layout. Suitable for most transactional emails.
Dark
Dark background layout. Matches dark-themed sites or brand guides that prefer a dark email design.
Preview
Click the Preview button to open a modal with a live render of the email using the current header, body, footer, and template values. Use this to check layout and formatting before saving.
Tips
Leave Header and Footer blank if you want a minimal plain-body email.
The From address must be authorised to send from your hosting environment (SPF/DKIM) to avoid spam filtering. Using your site's domain is safest.
To send to multiple recipients, separate addresses with commas in the To, Cc, or Bcc fields.
