# Working with Posts and Loop grid widgets

Use ACPT relational fields in Elementor PRO posts widget

Elementor Pro offers two key widgets for displaying dynamic content: the [**Loop Grid**](https://elementor.com/help/loop-grid/) and [**Posts**](https://elementor.com/help/posts-widget-pro/) widgets. The Loop Grid lets you build fully custom, repeatable layouts for posts or custom post types, while the Posts widget provides a faster, pre-styled way to showcase articles with easy filtering and pagination. Together, they cover both custom and quick post listing needs.

ACPT relational fields (**Post**, **Post Multiple**, and **Relationship**) can serve as a data source for these widgets by using a custom Query ID.

In Elementor Pro, [**Query ID**](https://developers.elementor.com/docs/hooks/custom-query-filter/) links widgets to the same data query, letting elements like filters or pagination control another widget’s results.

### Post widget

In the **Query ID** field, enter your field name using the following format:

```
acpt_boxname_fieldname
```

The related posts will then be automatically retrieved.

### Loop grid widget

First, set the source to **Manual Selection**.

Then, in the **Query ID** field, enter your field name using the following format:

```
acpt_boxname_fieldname
```

The related posts will then be automatically retrieved.

Please note that, inside the loop item template, you can use the ACPT fields as you normally do.

#### Example: create a related movies section

Suppose you have a custom post type called movie, and inside a Movie page, you want to display a related movies section with the release date.

First, create a Post Multiple field called related associated with movie post types, along with a simple date field.

Then, inside Elementor, use the loop grid widget to fetch and loop the related movies:
