# Text field

This is a standard text field:

### Allow HTML content

By default, HTML is stripped out. If you need to insert some HTML code here, go to the [advanced options panel](/meta-fields/the-meta-fields-manager/advanced-options-fields-settings.md) and then enable the option to allow HTML content.
