# Advanced options fields settings

Advanced options field settings

This section shows several advanced options.

### General settings

* **Headline location** - default: on the left
* **Vertical alignment** - default: center
* **Field width** - Field width in % (\[1-100] default value: 100)
* **This text will appear before input** - Text before. HTML is allowed (ex. `<small>`)
* **This text will appear after input** - Text after. HTML is allowed (ex. `</small>`)
* **CSS** - Add CSS classes to back-end editor fields
* **Allow in block bindings** - only shown for field types that support [Block Bindings](/integrations/gutenberg/block-bindings.md); on by default, turn it off to exclude this specific field

In addition to the General settings, some specific settings are available based on the [field type](/meta-fields/field-types.md).

### Audio fields settings

* **Use custom player** - instead of the standard WordPress player
* **Disable cover** - in the custom player
* **Render as** - HTML, URL or ID

### Clone fields settings

* **Layout** - The look of the field for admins and editors

### Date fields settings

* **Min -** the minimum date
* **Max -** the maximum date
* **Date format**

### Datetime fields settings

* **Min -** the minimum datetime
* **Max -** the maximum datetime
* **Date format**
* **Time format**

### File fields settings

* **Accepts** - input file accepts
* **Render as** - HTML, URL or ID
* **Hide the label**
* **Maximum size** - in Mb
* **Minimum size** - in Mb

### Gallery fields settings

* **Render as** - HTML, URL or ID

### Image fields settings

* **Set as thumbnail** - by activating this option, you can automatically set the image as post thumbnail
* **Render as** - HTML, URL or ID

### Nestable fields settings

* **Leading field** - The leading field (which will be displayed when the repeater is collapsed)
* **Layout** - Row, block, or table

### Password fields settings

* **Algorithm** - default, BCRYPT, ARGON2I, or ARGON2ID

### Post object fields settings

* **Layout** - the look of the field for admins and editors
* **Post type** - filter by post type
* **Post status** - filter by post status
* **Taxonomy** - filter by taxonomy
* **Restrict to logged-in user posts** - when enabled, the selector only shows posts authored by the currently logged-in user

### Radio fields settings

* **Hide blank value** - hide the blank value

### Relational fields settings

* **Layout** - the look of the field for admins and editors
* **Restrict to logged-in user posts** - when enabled, the selector only shows posts authored by the currently logged-in user

### Term object fields settings

* **Taxonomy** - filter by taxonomy
* **Sync** - sync with post terms with the current post

### Textual fields settings

* **Cols** - the number of columns of the textarea
* **Rows** - the number of rows of the textarea
* **Disable media** - disable the Media button in the WYSIWYG editor

### Numeric fields settings

* **Min** - the minimum allowed value
* **Max** - the maximum allowed value
* **Step** - the increment step
* **Pattern** - a regular expression the value must match

### Time fields settings

* **Time format**

### URL fields settings

* **Hide label** - hide the label (the anchor text)
* **Render as** - HTML, URL or label

### User object fields settings

* **Layout** - the look of the field for admins and editors
* **Role** - filter by user's role

### Video fields settings

* **Render as** - HTML, URL or ID
