# Meta box settings

Meta box settings

Click on the cog icon right after the meta box name.

An option panel will show up:

You can set these options:

* **Context** — where the meta box appears on the edit screen (`normal`, `side`, or `advanced`)
* **Priority** — the display order within its context (`default`, `high`, `low`, or `core`)
* **Hide title** — hides the meta box title bar
* **Hide toggle visibility** — removes the visibility toggle on the meta box header

You can also define one or more [conditional rendering rules](/meta-fields/the-meta-fields-manager/conditional-rendering-fields-settings.md) on a meta box, using the same logic as individual meta fields.
