How to migrate from v1

Before migrating to v2, follow these steps in order:

1. Back up your ACPT database tables (or the entire database to be safe).

2. Install v2.

3. If the migration succeeds, your meta fields will appear migrated into the corresponding groups (for example: page-group, post-group, etc.).

Important notes

The ACPT v2 database table structure is completely different from v1.

Downgrading from v2 back to v1 is not possible.

Export files created with v1 (.acpt files) are not compatible with v2.
