Migrating from v1

How to migrate from v1

Before migrating to v2, it is highly recommended to follow these steps:

  1. Backup your DB ACPT tables (or the entire DB if you want)

  2. Install v2

  3. If everything goes well, you will see your meta fields migrated into the corresponding groups (for example: page-group, post-group, etc...).

Please read carefully

ACPT v2 DB tables structure is completely different from v1.

For this reason, the transition from v2 back to v1 IS NOT POSSIBLE.

Also, the old .acpt files will not work on v2.

If you experience an error or any partial data loss during the installation of v2, please report it immediately.
