# Phone field

How to use the Phone field

This field is specific for the correct phone number handling.

The international prefix (such as +39) will be automatically applied and the phone number formatted using a country selector:

The country selector will update automatically if you type a number with an international prefix (for example, +39 061234567).

The international prefix is always saved as a separate extra field.
