# Import settings

How to import settings

This page manages **ACPT settings exclusively** — custom post types, taxonomies, option pages, meta field groups, forms, and CCT tables/table groups. Posts, terms, users, and any other WordPress content are not imported.

Navigate to **ACPT tools** and then click on **Import data.**

The Import page looks like this:

Upload here a valid ACPT backup.

Please note that importing a file from V1 will not work.

If the file is valid, an alert will inform you that the data was successfully imported.

If the backup contains **Custom Content Type (CCT) Tables and Table Groups**, they are recreated automatically: table groups are imported first, then tables are attached to them, and column hierarchies (repeater/flexible children) and foreign keys between tables are restored correctly regardless of the order in which they appear in the file.
